Super sudsy, nourishing, soothing, and doesn't disintegrate. Bend Soap Co.'s Goat Milk Soap is a hydration powerhouse. I use it on my face followed by Bend Soap Co.'s Goat Milk Lotion. That's right, exactly what you've been told not to do, bar soap on your face. Should you ghost your chemical-laden, stripping cleansers and miracle cleansing creams that cost a pretty penny? A smart question to ask yourself. My complexion has never been so consistently refreshed and blemish-free since streamlining down to Bend Soap Co.'s Goat Milk Bar Soap and Goat Milk Lotion. Pretty uncomplicated.

Goat Milk Soap Review: Bend Soap Co.
Performance
With its creamy, nourishing lather, Bend Soap Co.'s Goat Milk Soap delivers a satisfyingly sudsy shower and face wash. Its bubbles aren't those squeaky dry suds. You can feel the velvety texture. A spa-like experience is important, for sure, but what about efficacy? This beautiful little bar washes away sweat, dirt, pool chlorine, make-up, serums, lotions, grease, and oils. No problem. What it leaves behind is silky, soft, moisturized skin. It delivers the same volume and consistency of lather in both hard and soft water, which was a bit unexpected. Some foaming products don't perform as well in hard water. The bar stays nice and firm when handling it and when it comes into contact with water, which contributes to its impressively long lifespan.

Cost
After delving into goat milk soap and non-toxic soap for a few years, I can attest in this review that Bend Soap Co. is priced really well for a 4.5oz bar of soap, currently at $6.25/bar. With regularly available discounts, Wyld One's discount, and seasonal promotional offers, you can save anywhere from 10% to 20% on your orders. If you haven't looked into non-toxic soap and this price per bar is giving you sticker shock, let me make it make sense... the longevity of this soap is a thing. You can go through 2-3 bars of the synthetic, big brand soaps before you even think about the next scent of Bend Soap you are excited to put out. One bar of Bend Soap lasts, at minimum, a month (showering 1-2 times per day). I use a separate bar for my face. That bar lasts me upwards of 3-4 months, using it 3 times per day. Think about the cost of facial cleansers and makeup wipes. You won't need those, and neither does the environment. Additionally, there's no point in comparing cost against soaps and cleansers that are full of toxins and fillers. No contest, Bend Soap wins this one.
Scent Profiles
Essential Oil Goat Milk Soaps
All Shield: Delightfully comforting and sweet with warming spices. I get this one often. Not too strong, not too mild. Antibacterial properties. Clove, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Orange, and Cinnamon essential oils.
Almond Delight: Reminiscent of an Italian cookie or wedding cake. A little milder than I'd like. Not as scent-forward as the legendary Almond Delight Lotion. Organic Almond essential oil.
Eucalyptus Spearmint: Bright, fresh, minty (of course,) and slightly sweet which is why I like it. Perfect scent level. This one is a steady favorite. Uplifting and therapeutic. Eucalyptus and Spearmint essential oils.
Hint of Lavender: Softly scented with soothing lavender. A milder scent. Lavender is not a top choice for me, but I appreciate this one's relaxing effects. Lavender essential oils.
Honey Grapefruit: 100% natural honey packs a moisturizing and antibacterial punch. Not enough scent for me to come back to it. Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang essential oils.
Lavender Blossom: Calming. Loaded with natural lavender buds for exfoliation. I know I said I don't do lavender, but I like this. Lavender essential oils.
Lemongrass: Zingy and energizing. Citrus-forward. Lemongrass gives astringent and spring-cleaning to me, so I can't be trusted with a good opinion on this scent. Lemongrass, Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit essential oils (a more complex citrus profile than lemongrass alone).
Mt. Bachelor Pine: Invigorating pine. A favorite of my godson and brother-in-law. A little too woodsy for me. Organic Pine and Vanilla natural scents. Fir Needle, Patchouli (could be why I don't favor it), Rosemary, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang essential oils.
Sweet Orange: The joyfully sweet side of citrus. Less scent-forward than the Sweet Orange Lotion. Bacteria-fighting. Another milder option like Honey Grapefruit. Would be in the rotation if it gave more scent. Orange and Bergamot essential oils.
Tea Tree: It's Tea Tree... if you know the smell, you know the smell. Like Lemongrass, not a pick for me. Natural remedy for acne, dandruff, and a host of other skin concerns. Antifungal and antibacterial properties. Tea Tree essential oil.
Vienna Rose: A delicate floral. Soft, natural rose scent paired with geranium for a slightly more complex profile. Not heavy, artificial, or cloying. On the favorite list. Rose and Geranium essential oils.

(Seasonal)
Black Licorice: Are you kidding... top pick scent for sure. If you like black licorice, this scent is unreal and for you. It hits all of the right notes and could pass for that old time hard candy dusted in powder sugar. Thank you for this one Bend Soap Co. Star Anise essential oils.
Chai Tea: Sweet cinnamon chai. Warm and grounding, I have not tried this scent yet and I don't know why. It sounds delicious. Natural Vanilla scent with Cinnamon, Cardamom. Allspice, Clove, Ginger, and Nutmeg essential oils.
Peppermint: Slightly sweet, creamy, and evokes just the right amount of candy cane yumminess. A staple holiday treat for the shower. Peppermint essential oils.
Tangerine Spice: Stimulating and cozy all at once. An enjoyable fall scent. On the milder side. Tangerine and Clove essential oils.

Worth Noting:
My godson was doing his best to battle teenage skin. I gave him a bar of Bend Soap and that little cutie is obsessed with how much it has cleared his complexion. He just got a 'Yes!' to his HoCo proposal... perfect skin and all in his videos and photos. May seem trivial, but when you struggle with angry skin, it means everything when it chills out.
Closing Thoughts:
Overall, I adore the simplicity, wholesomeness, affordability, efficacy, and experience that the entire Bend Soap Co. line provides. If troubled skin has been a frustration for you or someone you care about, Bend Soap Co. may be the long-awaited answer. I wish someone would have told me about this beautiful line a while ago, but I'm no less grateful for it now. It feels good to feel good.
