Efficacy of Bend Soap Co.'s Liquid Hand Soap

LESSON LEARNED

Just like their bar soaps, Bend Soap Co.'s Foaming Goat Milk Hand Soap delivers a creamy, moisturizing lather. The suds are silky, fluffy, and rich. One of the best textures I've ever experienced with foaming hand soaps. I must confess, at first, I filled a hummingbird-nozzle soap dispenser (very narrow barrel-like nozzle) with my brand-new Bend Soap Hand Soap. Mistake. The pump didn't aerate the soap properly. It dispensed a liquified mix, and I found myself at the end of the bottle quickly. Initially I thought it was the nature of the soap itself, which was disappointing, but to give it a fair run, I switched out my bottle and converted to the Bend Soap Co. Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser. Brilliant, this pretty glass bottle with the cute little logo is the key to turning your soap into the luscious suds I've been bragging about.

EFFECTIVE AND ELEGANT

Beyond the sensory satisfaction, this delicate frothy dollop knocks out dirt, grime, grease, and grunge. Kitchen cheat: I use a 1/4 pump to prewash my dishes. She's a killer. Cuts right through caked on food but doesn't feel harsh in the least bit. I'm impressed. You know the spaghetti sauce lipstick you get after partaking in a delicious tomato sauce pasta dish. Other soaps struggled to break down the stain on my pasta pout, Exhibit A, the orange evidence left in my napkin, but Bend's Foaming Soap doesn't leave a trace. What does it leave? My hands, and whatever else I wash with it, feeling soft and clean.

--> Back to the 1/4 pump, a frugal girl's friend, this dispenser allows you to squish out a portion of a full pump without short-circuiting the moving parts. Most other pumps get stuck, don't aerate fully or shoot out liquid rather than foam if you try to get a smaller serving of soap. Bonus points for that.

SCENT MATCHES PERFORMANCE

Featured in this post, Sunrise Cheer hits your senses like a freshly cut tangerine or clementine. You can smell the bright, sweet citrus as soon as it comes through the pump. There's nothing sticky, artificial, or household cleaner about it. I really appreciate this scent. It doesn't follow you around on your hands between washes, and it shouldn't. The scents that you can smell hours later on your skin are the phony toxic ones that are no good for you.

Last Thought

Overall, I have come to love and trust in the simplicity, wholesomeness, affordability, efficacy, and experience that the entire Bend Soap Co. line delivers. When they released their foaming hand soap, I posted about it before it arrived at my door, Goat Milk Foaming Hand Soap. Hopes were high and the not-so-subtle take away from this review is that Bend Soap Co. crafted another stunner with their Foaming Hand Soap.
